Ashdowne Care Centre (Tiverton)
Welcome to Ashdowne Care Centre, where our philosophy is that we don't just care for you, we care about you. Located in Tiverton, close to the town center, we provide nursing and residential care for up to 60 residents.
Our care center is made up of two units: Ashdowne House, which specializes in general care for the older person, and Pinnex Moor House, which specializes in caring for people living with dementia and those with mental health care needs. At Ashdowne Care Centre, we offer a wide range of facilities and amenities to ensure that our residents feel at home. Our care facilities are designed with a personal touch, and we provide a variety of daily activities and amenities for our residents to enjoy.
In our Ashdowne House unit, we offer call bell systems, a lift to the first floor, specialist showering and bathing facilities, and a convenient car park. We also have regular visits from a local vicar and GP, and offer a range of recreational activities such as crafts, table activities, baking, quizzes, sing-a-longs, visiting professional singers and musicians, fetes, coffee mornings, and celebration of public events.
We also have television, quality nutritious meals, and a choice of lounge and dining facilities. For your personal care needs, we offer the services of a registered foot healthcare professional or a HCPC registered chiropodist/podiatrist, and hairdresser upon request. We also have special care available for those with mental health-related problems.
Our landscaped gardens with patio areas provide a peaceful and beautiful outdoor space to enjoy, and we have day care facilities available for those who need additional support during the day. We also offer companion rooms for those who prefer shared living arrangements.

Activities and Social Events
